Admission Procedures
Striving for Excellence

All incoming students are academically tested, if room is available and upon
satisfactory performance, admitted as follows:

Priority 1: Preference will be given to students' siblings already attending the
academy.
Priority 2: Member of Our Parish.
Priority 3: Children of alumni will have preference over new families. This
priority applies solely in the month of October.

* No parish member will be denied access to the academy solely
on the basis of inability to pay full tuition.
* No child shall be admitted as student unless their parents are
aware of the academy's philosophy, educational policies,
regulations and accept to follow it.

ADMISSIONS TO PRE-KINDERGARTEN AND TO
KINDERGARTEN

After the priorities listed above, admission will be determined by the following
factors:

1.The child must be four years old by September 1st during the academic year
if the parent is seeking admission for pre-kindergarten.

2.The child must be five years old by September 1st during the academic year
if the parents is seeking admission for kindergarten.

3.The child demonstrates a development readiness shown on Gessell Testing
results.

REGISTRATION

1.For students currently enrolled in PRE-K-7, registration for
the new school year takes place in February or March. New
students are registered during April or May.
By the end of April parents must notify the office if child will
be staying for the next school year; if not, child will
automatically be dropped. Rgistration fees must be paid at
time of registration. Registration fees are non-refundable.

 

2.No registration will be accepted without
-Baptismal and birth certificates.
-Health immunization records.

3.Transfer students must submit report cards, health records
and transcripts.

4.Due to high enrollment, there is waiting list for admission.
Sign-ups for the waiting list begins on October. Please keep
in mind the list does not carry over from one year to the next.

5.Students will not be allowed to register if they have been
retained for two years during their schooling at the academy.

6.Students retained in 8th grade will not be allowed to register.

7.Students that received three suspensions during the school
year will not be invited to return to the academy.
